Tests

Dear teacher,

Long time no see, and I miss you so much. My mom asked me to write an essay to you. The title of my essay is “Test”. I’ll write about how I felt during my third grade in junior high school.

In the beginning, I told myself that I must study harder than before, so I studied harder and harder. Sometimes, I even forgot to sleep. When Chinese New Year came, I saw many of my friends playing a lot, and I wanted to relax, too. However, I reminded myself that I have to study hard, so I just listen to some light music to relax myself. I also got some red envelopes before the test, which is the most important test in junior high. I felt excited, because I really studied so hard during my third grade, and when the test was over, I was really happy. I don’t have to study hard like that anymore.

When I got my school report card, I was very happy too because my English score was 60, the highest score achievable. My mom said she was proud of me, and I think that is the result of my hard work and perseverance.

Tests

In the beginning, of third grade, (No need for “of third grade” because you do not need to mention it again) I told myself that I must study harder than before, so I study studied (Past tense) harder and harder., Sometimes, I even forgot to sleep. until (“When” because I think here, you refers to “the arrival of the New Year”) When Chinese New Year came,. I saw many of my (“of my friends” is better than “friends of mine” because the first expression is more common, and the second more poetic) friends of mine playing a lot, and I wanted to (Past tense) relax, too., but However,(Never use “but” at the beginning of a sentence) I reminded (“Remind” means to “keep oneself constantly informed of something”) myself that I have to study hard, so I just listen to some light music (“to relax oneself” means to “take the load off” or “to take it easy”) to relax myself.  and go get I also got (Past tense) some red envelopes (Surely more than one) before the test, which is the most important test of in junior high. school I feel felt (Past tense) excited, because I really studied (Past tense) so hard during my third grade, after and when the test was over, (“Over” means “completed” or “finished”) I was really happy., because I don’t have to study hard like that anymore., (“Anymore” means “never, ever again”) When I got my school report card, I was very happy too (“Too” because you were happy for two reasons, and this is the second) because my English score was (You call that a “score”) got 60, the highest score achievable.(“Achievable” means “That which can be accomplished” or “That which is possible”).., My mom said (Past tense) she was proud of me, and I think that is the result of my hard work and perseverance.
